Tina Leavitt

I am a Registered Play Therapist. My speciality is working with children, teens, and families to help them understand and manage their emotions and behaviors in a supportive therapeutic environment. I assist parents and children with working through barriers that affect their everyday life through a warm and collaborative, strength-based approach. As a Registered Play Therapist specializing in Child Centered Play Therapy and Synergetic Play Therapy, I support parents in understanding and supporting children with vulnerable nervous systems and difficult behavioral presentations. I agree with Dr. Ross Greene when I say, I believe children do well if they can. For over 30 years I have worked with parents and children/adolescents in a variety of setting to build skills in the areas of anxiety, depression, communication, emotional and self-regulation and work through past trauma. I look forward to working with you and your child as a team to create a safe space where skills can be enhanced and goals will be reached.
